 I am an Assistant Professor of Information Technologies in the Department of Analytics, Operations, and Information Technologies at Université du Québec à Montréal's School of Management (ESG UQAM) in Montréal, Québec, Canada. My research uses neuroscience-informed Information Systems methods (NeuroIS) — including electroencephalography, electrodermal activity, heart rate, and pupillometry — to examine human–computer and human–AI interaction, with an emphasis on the responsible use of AI. My methodological repertoire also includes literature reviews (systematic, scoping, critical, etc.). 
A first stream of my work focuses on AI use in professional decision-making. Through a three-iteration multi-approach critical review of the AI use literature, I have identified and classified AI facets — anthropomorphism, autonomy, inscrutability, and learning — alongside system-level properties — explainability, transparency, and reliability — proposing working definitions for each construct and developing a framework and research agenda for IS scholarship on AI use. My empirical work extends this framework, investigating how explainability, transparency, and reliability influence critical thinking in AI-assisted decision-making in deontologically governed professions. 
A second stream examines technostress in digital financial technology contexts, investigating how unexpected technology behaviors and perceived financial loss trigger attentional and behavioral disengagement as coping responses, including discontinuance of digital financial services. 
My research informs practice through contributions to professional training initiatives on the responsible use of AI, including a multi-institutional program developed in collaboration with Quebec professional orders and IVADO. 
I serve as Associate Editor for a special issue of the European Journal of Information Systems on the neurophysiological foundations and effects of contemporary technologies (2026–2027), and review for the Journal of the Association for Information Systems and major IS conferences including the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), and the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS).
